Sick! - In an incredibly good way! I love the way you made the beard and the hair - I also need to learn how to do de-saturated stuff like you did on this small guide! Very nice - worth a fav and a watch, why not ^^

teheh I just got this image of someone vomiting, but smiling about it :p Its funny, I always used to get told that the way I keep my paintings somewhat desaturated was a bad thing. I still get criticised negatively for it from time to time, but more often than not now people have started identifying my work by it. Personally, I like it. But as I try new things I have no doubt it will change up a little anyway :)

Very handy!  Never thought to sue the chalk brush then draw the hair over top - it certainly makes the texture better!  Thanks for sharing. <3

Youre most welcome! There are loads of different brushes you can use to get that texture, but personally I think the chalk brush is really the most effective :)
